25 years Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mendocino
County has been making a difference in our community and
world.
Volunteers, mentors, sponsors, donors, associates and other participants in
this program help our young people by providing friendship, mentoring, guidance
and other kinds of nurturing support.
Research has
demonstrated that children who are supported, encouraged and guided
are far more likely to lead responsible, satisfying lives. Children who
grow up without assistance from caring others are more likely to
have major problems as adults such as low income, crime, drugs,
violence and unhappiness.

BBBS is currently looking for new Board Members on the coast and inland. Board Meetings are currently being held on the second Thursday of the month. If you think you might be interested in this position, call for more information.
Event volunteers are needed throughout the year to help bring magic to community based fundraisers and special activities. The largest of these events and activities are the Annual Little River Inn Golf Tournament and the Bowl for Kids' Sake bowl-a-thon. Have some fun and get involved.
